about

A bottle, a mirror and me

lyrics

Oh John (The Other Side) 1985

Oh John, how could you treat me this way
You said, things would never be quite the same
Today’s just a game we play
Hey hey…. ‘Carte Blanche’ again
You got me walking the beach with your card in my hand
You got me walking the streets, I don’t understand

I could be somebody, I could have starred the role
But you don’t walk back from the other side oh no

John
Are you there John?
Are you here John?

Oh John, where will we be this time?
It seems our luck’s run dry
You know, they’ll never understand
I could have been the killer on the other hand ……
